ABOUT BIOPOWER PLANT DEVELOPMENT CLUSTER

Addeco, which engages in developing bioenergy plants, was founded in 2013. The cluster seeks to develop biogas production and related technologies that create conditions for organic farming receiving a good return on investment.

ACTIVITIES OF THE CLUSTER

Members of the cluster implement two large-scale projects of developing innovative technologies. It is sought to eliminate the shortcomings in biomethane production technologies. They are the amount of methane mission into the atmosphere during the biogas purification process and a comparatively small amount of methane in biogas. Due to these shortcomings the production of biogas and the use of biomethane are still economically unprofitable.

Attempts are made to develop innovative technologies that are unique and which will enable us to move to fully sustainable and organic farming:

A) R&D in the following fields:

1) increase of biomethane content in biogas;

2) innovative fermentation;

3) digestate upgrading for anaerobic process;

4) extraction of bio-ammonia, production of biofertilizers and biohumus, etc.;

5) utilization of the second generation CO2.

B) Engineering and manufacturing of novel biomethane production equipment.

C) Promotion of biomethane as a fuel for light, heavy and agricultural transport.
