Emergency Gas Flare

The biogas production process is the inert one, thus in some cases when the biogas production is interrupted and the digestion process is still being carried out, the biogas has to be stored in the dedicated tanks or it needs to be burned, as the long term emissions to the environment are prohibited. As such emergency events are rare and the biogas storage is not purposeful, thus in such instances these emergency gas flares are burned. During the combustion process the methane gas is converted into carbon dioxide, the second generation fuel that is environment-friendly, and the emissions thereof are not limited.
